HEADLINE: Man arrested over killing of student who was selling his car through Craigslist 

TOPIC: Killing of a student after trying to sell his car.

SUMMARY: 
-The two men were connected on Craigslist.
-Occurred during lunch break, they planned to meet and take a test drive.
-The suspect who killed him, after tried to hide his body, and place the body where nobody saw.
-Gordon the guy who killed him, then went back to work after.
-The Georgia man was charged with murder, after this all occurred.

ANALYSIS:

I believe that this was a wrong thing, meeting of Craigslist you have to be eligible, he should be in prison or have the death sentence. He was the one selling the car, he shot him one time and committed a crime. The guy killed was a student, he was finishing up an exam, then killed moments later.

Leading to Civil War

Missouri Compromise (1820)- An effort by the U.S Senate and House of Representatives to balance the slave holding states and free states. The slave holding states feared of being outnumbered and they would eventually lack power to protect property and trade.

Wilmont Proviso (1846)- This was designed to eliminate slavery within the land acquired, this happened during the Mexican War. This also created arguments between the North and the South over the extension of slavery.

Compromise of 1850- Due to divisions over slavery, the Mexican American War came about, they resolved this with the Compromise of 1850. They admitted States free and they questioned Slavery in certain states.

Publication of Harriet Beecher Stowe's Uncle Tom's Cabin(1851-1852)- This contributed to the outbreak of war by personalizing the political and economic arguments over slavery. Uncle Tom's Cabin influenced people but most certainly Harriet Beecher Stowe.

Kansas-Nebraska Act(1854) - Was a bill that mandated "popular sovereignty," it allowed settlers of a territory to decide if slavery should be allowed within the states border. This conflict was brought about due to pro-slavery and anti slavery settlers after.
